Ever since the 2016 Ben Stuckart coup attempt that combined a NOW National Organization of Women ethics complaint against Mayor Condon and a coordinated Recall Condon attempt - which resulted in R.Eichstaedt negotiating to drop the ethics complaint in exchange for the City giving Sheehan MORE POWER by agreeing to place more of Sheehan's people on more boards and commissions. Ever since Police Chief Meidl was put through sheer HELL by Sheehan and his machine ... Meidl is unfortunately in a position of having Sheehan's boot on his neck - meaning that he merely MUST yield things like agreeing with the very radical political zealot Fire Chief Brian Schaeffer that the Monroe lane reductions will not impact in any way the emergency responses of the police and will not impact in any way emergency evacuation strategies should there be a disaster or crisis. Meidl was bullied into providing the police department up on a silver platter for Washington State University and/or Eastern Washington University studies into police department racism and/or heavy handedness etc. ... Meidl was likely also intimidated into coming into line with Fire Chief Schaeffer's position on response times and evacuation plans regarding the Monroe Street primary arterial lane reductions. (Meidl learned first hand when he was facing review to be approved as Police Chief, that the destructive powers and forces of Sheehan's Center for Justice and Sheehan's 25+ non-profit social justice extreme organizations could be brought to bear at any time he is outside of favor with the Sheehan machine).
