The New Empire

The cold moonlit air seemed to chill Keriz through his brain case., even underground. As he reached his consciousness to a soldier on the ground above, his senses were overwhelmed by the cold. He quickly directed the man to a sentry position, placing him to watch for any "Prazin," a new species of alien discovered. Thinking back, Keriz though about how he used to be a young man, hardly twelve, when the technology to remove humans' brains from their bodies was discovered. Soon, interstellar travel resulted, allowing Keriz to join the new United Eath Army to be in charge of the first few "BioSoldiers," robots created by mankind to be used for anything.
